Yuhu Cold Chain (Nanjing) Trading Centre is positioned as a full-chain service hub for cold chain food and an urban support base radiating the Yangtze River Delta. It covers a land area of 209 mu(Chinese unit of area, about 666.7 square meters) with a construction area of approximately 300,000 square meters.

The project plans to construct four functional zones: international cold chain food trading, cold chain warehousing, comprehensive processing and supporting services. It serves as a key step for enterprises to deepen their East China market strategy and continuously improve the layout of the national physical fulfilment network. Meanwhile, it will give full play to Nanjing’s geographical advantage of "connecting the east with the west and linking the north with the south", strengthen the function of the regional logistics hub, help Nanjing and the Yangtze River Delta improve modern, digital and intelligent cold chain infrastructure, accelerate the integration of upstream and downstream industrial chain resources, promote industrial iteration and upgrading, and inject new momentum into Nanjing’s development as a national-level logistics hub and the high-quality development of the regional economy.

The centre is positioned as the hub for the entire cold chain food service in the Yangtze River Delta and as a city safeguard base. It will establish four major functional zones: international cold chain food trading, cold chain warehousing, integrated processing, and supporting services. Leveraging the core advantages of Yuhu Cold Chain and playing the role of a "chain leader," the project aims to achieve the integrated prosperity of commerce, services, logistics, finance, and tourism industries. It will strengthen the coordination of regional cold chain resources and the resilience of the supply chain, thereby driving stable growth in urban consumption, employment, and tax revenue within the region. Additionally, the project will promote the upgrading of international food trade and help Jiangsu Province build a comprehensive cold chain industry ecosystem.
