On July 2, Zhou Kezhang, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Construction Eighth Engineering Division (CCEED), and his delegation visited the Shenzhen headquarters of Yuhu Cold Chain. The two sides held discussions on topics including cold chain logistics infrastructure, industry-wide coordination, and joint efforts to promote high-quality development.
Huang Xiangmo, Chairman of the Board of Hong Kong Yuhu Group, extended a warm welcome to Zhou Kezhang and his delegation, and introduced Yuhu Cold Chain's strategic layout and project progress. He stated that Yuhu Cold Chain is currently upgrading the cold chain industry by deploying heavy-asset cold chain food trading centre industrial clusters across the country and building an Online-Merge-Offline (OMO) business model that integrates online transactions with offline fulfilment. As a key participant in national cold chain logistics engineering construction with a portfolio of representative projects, CCEED is expected to establish a regular communication and coordination mechanism with Yuhu Cold Chain. By integrating their respective resource advantages, both parties can comprehensively deepen cooperation, jointly serve national strategies, and achieve win-win development.
Zhou Kezhang expressed his gratitude to Hong Kong Yuhu Group for its trust and support of CCEED, and introduced the Division’s reforms and development as well as its participation in cold chain logistics projects. He stated that Hong Kong Yuhu Group is a world-renowned multinational industrial investment group, and Yuhu Cold Chain, as a leading domestic cold chain food supply chain enterprise under the Group, has made important contributions to ensuring national food safety. Going forward, CCEED will continue to leverage its full-industry-chain strengths, ensure the successful delivery of ongoing projects, deepen pragmatic cooperation with Yuhu Cold Chain in the fields of cold chain infrastructure and smart technology collaboration, and jointly explore new paths for sustainable and high-quality development.
